I felt a hole in my chest form and felt a sudden emptiness when I realized how easily you could forget me, and all the memories we shared.

How quickly 18 years come and go…
I felt a hole in my chest form and felt a sudden emptiness when I realized how easily you could forget me, and all the memories we shared.
How quickly 18 years come and go…
I have so many questions that I ask throughout the day. All the why’s and what ifs all the things I need to say.
Why did this happen to me?
What could I have done?
What if I had been different?
Why were you the one?
Questions that seem unending can plague the heart and mind. Despertely seeking answers where there are none to find.
There is only one question that can only be answered by you. The hardest question of all
How am I going to get through?
They say time heals, but I find it only helps you learn to deal. Today 18 years has gone by and my partner is gone, although sometimes I sit and wonder if she was ever by my side in the first place…
There’s nothing like a song about lost love to remind you how everything precious can slip from the hinges where you’ve hung it so careful.
~Sue Monk Kidd
One of the most toxic things I’ve done is ignore the bad in someone because I wanted to keep them in my life
The bad times are only chapters, they are not the whole story

People visit my past more Thea. I do. I don’t live there anymore sweetheart. I sold the whole building.
Every day can be yours, only if you don’t permit others to dictate over your actions
Don’t feel sad over someone who gave up on you, feel sorry for them because they gave up on someone who would have never given up on them.
Sometimes all you need is a hot drink, a sweater, the sun on your face, and a small place to gather.
We can feel lonely at times, and all we have to hold onto, are fragments from our memories. Grasping them ever so tightly, and pressing them into our souls.
But know that this world needs you. It needs your light, your love. It needs the energy that you bring. You’re part of something bigger.
You matter.
